Loving Image #2. And yes, I find it difficult to take Christmas down, so I leave it up for as long as it pleases our Family... some years its been up almost through the entire month of January! *LOL* We'll see how long this year's Salvage Inspired Christmas Decor continues to be enjoyed before we pack it all away?

Ooooh yes, I know how you feel. I took everything down two days ago and the 'eco effect' is back.. No, I really mean it.. I still (!) haven't got anything on my walls.. Laughable isn't it.. 5 months in Sweden and the artist still lives with nada to cover the white walls.. Yikes!
The Christmas decor was very forgiving and really did work so nicely in my otherwise so bare shell of a home. :)

But I am actually so glad to start afresh because the house (and it's inhabitants..) needed to breeeathe. I really needed to clear all the cozy clutter to get a clear idea of what now needs to be done. And in true spirit of a new year I have made a list.. Gosh, I love lists! Especially those done at the very first days of a fresh new year! :)

Frames are being bought, new rugs are being rolled out and the house generally will be getting the final few touches to make it a 'home'. Yay!

I haven't been able to disassemble my dining room table yet. But, it's just about time to clear off the glitter and go for a clean and simple look!

This book looks like great inspiration for clearing out all the "stuff".
