I've always been a fan of wallpapered bookcases. Always adds the perfect pop of color and pattern.

LOVE them all!!! My little bookshelves feel a little bland in comparison.

Wishing you and yours a very happy holiday!!!

Usually I like wallpaper or a contrasting color on the inside of bookcases and cupboards, but the large-scale trellis and graphic prints don't allow enough contrast with the items on display and everything seems a bit chaotic. The photo with the small-scale pink print adds beautiful color and contrast, and coordinates well with the contents. (always have to remember proportion and scale to be successful).

I have a thing for old papered traveling trunks. That is what these bookcases remind me of, something that holds treasures and personal things. I don't think I've actually seen wallpapered bookcases, but that last image definitely got me on the after Christmas project.

note to self, line some things with fun prints, that includes a jacket. I love fun linings....especially silver.
