Donna, we love all of the grays you chose. Gray is one of the favorite colors. Renee and I chose to use Chelsea Gray for my mantel and cabinet in the mud room. We are thinking about using Fieldstone for an accent kitchen cabinet. We loved the look in Sally's kitchen; however, got a little nervous when we picked up the swatch. The swatch seemed much darker than Sally's kitchen. Have you used fieldstone?

Well, yes! Just clicked on your very first pick ... I already have two gallons of B.Moore's "Horizon" sitting and waiting for me to repaint the boudoir! I know it will be the best ... I started and stopped midstream with Marilyn's Dress (mostly because I love the name!) - way too blue. I suffered over which gray to use until I found Horizon a few months ago ... now you've inspired me to get going and finish the job! One more gray I used several years ago before gray started showing up everywhere: Benjamin Moore's "Horizon Grey" if you like green undertones ... warm, good in all lighting conditions ... not tired of it. Love your blog!

Love your blog! There is a gorgeous gray recommended to me by an associate at Benjamin Moore called "Sleigh Bells," that is very true grey. It doesn't end up looking blue, or green or taupe, just clean, calming and refreshing pure gray. Bathrooms look stunning with Black and white Nero Marquina marble on the floor and Carerra marble, and white porcelain tiles on the walls. I recommend white ceiling and trim in "Simply White."

What a treat to see all of your favorites! Weirdly I have not used any of them ... now I have some new grays to try!

Olympus White from Duron/SW is a twin of BM Horizon -- I have it in my living room and love it.

Thanks for sharing your favorites Donna. I've had great success with Farrow and Ball Pavillion Gray (at the cottage -- love it with white), F & B Downpipe (my dining room) and BM Horizon in a client's home. I also love F & B Manor House Gray - just used it to paint an old table at the cottage. I used BM Cement Gray - 2112-60 in our bunkie - it's so lovely. I'll have to take a look at Sherwin Williams' colours.

Thanks so much for choosing the python tray in your previous idea book...can't remember if I thanked you for that! :)

Hi Donna -
Thanks so much for all the info you have shared! We've just painted our living room and halls BM Edgecomb Grey with Ivory White Trim. It is practically ethereal and looks wonderful with our antique mahogany pieces as well as with our gold and silver patina art, sconces and tables

This seems like a good place to ask this question, do you know exactly what grey C.Dior and the people at dior use on their walls?

Thank you Donna! We're still looking for that 'perfect gray' for over our rock fireplace and haven't quite nailed it as of yet...Revere Pewter is up there now but it's a bit to beige. The Chelsea Gray is now calling to me, it's nice to have a lead!
So fun seeing your entire list...

I love your blog. I was, too in search of the absolutely perfect gray for my bedroom. I had a zillion swatches on the wall and we finally found the most beautiful shade ever and it's not on your list.

Ben Moore "Collingwood"

It's fab! Not blue, not green, not brown, just pretty!

Thoughts on Wickham Gray? Seems like a nice light neutral gray.
