Friday we caught a virus.
Not me. My laptop.
Now I kinda wish it was me.
'Cause I know I can get better. I don't know about my laptop. And the fate of the gazillion photos I'd collected over the past few months. I know it's a small thing, really. But I'm kinda crushed. I loved those images that I'd been fortunate to find through you wonderful shelter bloggers. Especially the ones I was saving as inspiration for our bath re-do. (And all that gray. *Sigh*)
I'm keeping fingers crossed that the 'fixers' are able to recover my files.
But, if not, it's all good. I'll have fun re-collecting.
So, my babies, back up. Today.
All our personal family photos and documents are thankfully on our desktop, which is, to date, healthy!
Top two images were saved on my dinosaur desktop long ago and I don't have credit. Sorry.
Last image is from Elle Decor via today's post from the gal at Shift, who also has a virus. Feel better.

... we are sharing the sunshine award at la dolfin ... I am so charmed to be lined up with someone like you ... let's chat ... I think our hearts beat at the same time
that is most definitely not good to hear.
it will all work out for the best.
After you get your laptop up and running again, invest in a "Clickfree" automatic backup machine, mind saved all my autocad files and pictures a few months ago when my laptop went to laptop heaven...
that's the worst--fingers crossed the worst is behind you!
Oh no! Never fun when it happens but sometimes it is a blessing too - to get rid of all the junk and start fresh! (I think your best images - and for you in particular! - are in your head anyway). Hope it all works out. xx Mon
Oh I am so sorry, good advice, I might have to do that also, I am with you I have so many inspiration files saved on my computer. It is fun researching but there are some for my own personal use,not just my blog that I would also be crushed . They say nothing is ever lost on a computer, maybe a computer geek could help you out, good luck, sorry for you misfortune. Hang in there, Kathysue
Oh no! Call Hane if you need to!
Hi thanks for stopping by my blog post on Frigescaping. I kid you not you will love it. It does not always stay like that , obviously there are others(if you know who I meant) that get in there) but it really is easier to keep things neat when it looks pretty. I guess it is just more motivating. You know we designer types have to decorate anything that is standing still. Have a great week, hope the computer gets fixed, Kathysue. Oh I almost forgot, tomorrow is Pantry day.
Oh no!! I made the mistake once , now I put the images on Flash Drives!

I'm so sorry your laptop is sick!!
I have hope that it will recover and everything will be OK!!!
Hang in there :)
Oy! Fingers are crossed. Have @ 4000 pictures for my blog alone. Think Wordpress backs up for us. I also backed up to an external hard drive that failed recently. Thanks for the "hair raising" warning! Trish
What's this? Let me know if you need me to pull out the big guns.
