Third picture down does it for me. My dining room walls are gray, but I think creating white panelling below would focus it beautifully - something missing at the moment...

My favorites are the last two images.....Love those wing back chairs with the industrial table. And I love the prrple tablecloth with the light greys in that room. Yumm!Maryanne xo
What a great blog! I am also on the same quest. What a journey it has been. I had no idea how many shades of gray there were! We are moving into a new home and trying out many many samples on our walls right now. I'm leaning toward Eddie Bauer's "Limestone" in my family room, Valspar's "artichoke" in my dining room, and Valspar's "Wet Pavement" in my bedroom (with Sable Evening to accent). This was all finalized until I found Sherwin William's Amazing Gray.... too many to choose from!
Your comment made me smile...thank you for the well wishes AND... thank you for these amazing images!
Number three needs to be my office, number four's velvet wingbacks need to be in our future dining room...and number five is just way too lovely! The perfect eye candy for my "flooded" eyes! ;)

I'm crazy over the last pic! I'm convinced food would taste better in such a beautiful space! :) Have a great weekend!
Gray seems to work particularly well in dining rooms; I guess it makes an ideal backdrop for colorful food and even more colorful guests!
Beautiful! I love the last pic with the lavender throw over the table. Gorgeous! Enjoy your weekend. Mona
The image from La Maison Boheme is perfection! Actually every one of these rooms is pretty swoon-worthy.
