I love claw-foot baths, and this one is so majestic on its "stage" :)

Raising the bath onto a higher level, like in this room, makes the whole experience more elegant and indulgent!

Hope you had a lovely weekend, Donna.

Practically perfect! I've always had a soft spot for a raised bath tub.

There is something so regal about stepping UP to a tub. This bath is swoon-worthy!!

Look at this tub, all perched up on a platform! Very cool, and love the dark finish. Happy Monday! Janell

Love the black tub and the gilded mirror. In fact, nothing wrong with the rest of the room either!

ooo love this room. i bet the height of hte bath allows for a great view out that window. and the size of that fireplace in the mirror - man what a place to soak away the day!

Beautiful, so reminds me of my great-aunt's residence when iron tubs were normally in the middle of the room like this!

Yes yes yes!
I love this bathroom. You know how I have a weakness for stand-alone baths, and ones that are furnished for pleasure rather than the hygienic necessities! Wonderful!

Oh my goodness Donna, this is glorious! The term Bathing Pavilion has immediately come to mind, which probably sounds silly, but that's how I feel about this bathing beauty.
