You and me both! Anthropologie had some lovely white bowls in that I kept meaning to get until they went out of stock. Should have been quicker!

Hope you are well, Donna. xo

A few years ago, I gave away my big heavy french cafe dishes ( white with a blue trim) and bought all white china. I use it every day, and then I started adding other pieces for interest, but always in white. It has not gotten boring yet !
I do love that first photo !

Me TOO! me TOO!
I love this look!
My favorite dishes right now come from Ballards...primvere in cream!
I own them and the serving pieces but think I need more!
This Chandy is gorgeous!
Have a wonderful day!

What a fantastic set of vintage bowls! It is pretty close to perfect and would love that in my collection as well. I recently picked up a set of vintage stacking glasses at a local antique shop that I am still swooning about. Great back splash as well! Thanks for sharing, enjoy your day!

Donna, I love this - I bought a bunch of bowls just like that at the Puces de Vanves last fall -- these images capture everything I love about white in the kitchen and I'm putting them in my "favorites" file. Thanks for sharing!

I am a big fan of white china, etc. It just makes the food look better!

i constantly flip flop between wanting the simple white vintage dishes, to wanting colorful pattern exotic dishes. I suppose the only solution is to have a set of each...

OOOH, I love that dining room. The old silver dome just makes the vignette perfect. I have a set of 4 chairs that look just like those in my new online shop. Have you had a chance to stop by and take a peek?

how beautiful. My grandmother left me her cream dish set. I adore it and it blends in nicely with my current white sets.

I love all white and open shelving...I love to see it and it's so much easier to use and put away. Beautiful photos. And I LOVE your gray & gold post...i keep going back to it!

Yes, you actually don't need to buy anything new...old white and off-white bowls and plates look great stacked up. I like the combination with the tarnished silver in the first image...

Me toooo! I LOVE white /cream dishes, bowls, platters ... and I really love them all stacked and grouped together ... can't ever have too many, right? Great photos.

Totally in love with both of these images!! The marble or limestone floor and full height cabinets in the first with the juxtaposition of the fabulous chandelier - just to die for.

Me toooo...now, if I could just manage to find a thrift shop or two down here, I'd be in bid-ness!

I am just loving that vintage silver platter cover in the center of the table. Not only does it save time polishing silver, but it lends such a sophisticated yet casual air to the entire setting.
