If everything goes well and I hold my mouth just right, we should receive our marble for the master bath vanity top at the end of this week. It's been a long haul. I'm very happy so far. Hope to have some pictures up soon...
A lovely use of old silver! I keep stamps in my son's christening mug and pens in a beaker, but you are making me think of digging out my mother-in-law's old Indonesian silver...
It pleases me to see you using the silver pieces in a utilitarian way. I put roses in silver teapots and my makeup brushes are little bristled flowers in a silver julep cup. I had a friend a few years older who kept her entire service glistening on a sideboard.
My Gift Guides and Retail Therapy posts may contain some affiliate links. This means I may receive a small commission on sales thru this blog. Your cost is NOT affected. I only link to items which I would love to own or do already own. Any commission I earn allows me to keep up the gray goodness...so, thank you for your support! Donna

What a pretty way to use and display this cream jug and sugar bowls. So, much better than them being unused and unloved, hidden away in a cupboard.

Hope you are not stressing too much.

Those are really cute toiletry holders. They look really classy and shabby chic.

This looks great -- but does the tarnish rub off on the cotton, etc?
