That is a favorite look. I love layering mirrors and paintings, all stacked up. It gives spontaneity and movement to an otherwise formal arrangement. Thanks for the inspiration!
Gorgeous image. The greatest thing about the layered look is, there is no pressure... you can change it around easily until you get it just right. Go for it...!
The white mirror looks quite a bit like the one that hangs over our fireplace! Love the layered look... and I wish I was cozily curled in front of that fire!
Such pretty layering in this image...each piece is special, even the greenery! Please be courageous, I'd love to see your layering! You can just move things around willy-nilly as you please, whenever you please Donna...it will be so fun. You might need an extra pair of muscles though in the event of massive mirror moving...those look a tad heavy...as does the vase, and the bust...definitely strength, as well as courage was used here! Sorry, I'm rambling, too much Halloween candy tonight. xo J~
I just love this look! Living in Seattle = eathquake country, how would I affix them enough to feel safe? All that shattered glass would be a nightmare.

I like that idea...never thought of doing that. Thanks for the inspiration!
Love that idea too...creates such a beautiful effect. I have also seen it done with antiqued mirror which is also really beautiuful. Happy Halloween!

Done right it can be so perfect! I wanted to tell you that I find Pottery Barn has great prices on seagrass and natural rugs!
This photo has the perfect balance of layering it is layered but not overdone at the same time. Love it...
Very beautiful & fairly easy to do ¿no?
I love layering too! I just never know how to do it with items in my home. I'm just starting to learn how to layer jewelry! This is gorgeous!
Donna,
I've always admired that look as well...mirror on mirror. Terrified that I'll shatter the bottom one during hanging.
One of these days, I hope to be brave, too!!!
xo Elizabeth
