The Art of Kiki Slaughter

Well, look what she's gone and done now.
She's mixing furniture with art.
The bench above is great - upholstered in a paint-spattered canvas. Maybe it's her actual drop cloth.
But those chairs.
Man, those vintage, french-style gray chairs with those blue/green
paint spattered seats.

I love her new direction.

I just love this idea! I really want to know more about the fabric design process.

I love these, naturally! Coincidentally, I have two chairs at the upholsterer to be slipcovered in a drop cloth the kids and I painted on--hope it looks half as cool as these!

Ha! This is great. I was just looking at my huge canvas drop cloth lying on my studio floor thinking it would make a great upholstery for a tufted head board or wing back chair! Love it.
