I love these...most are in my inspiration file for the new house. :) The best part is that most can be replicated with inexpensive b & w tile, just need to get creative in laying it...at least that is what I'm hoping to save the budget!!

I'm obsessed. I have a long distance client in Austin and we did black and white penny tiles in a stripe in her library. Wish I could have it in my own home!

Such stylish rooms, black is so chic and when mixed with a touch of gold its just so elegant. The furniture in these pictures fit the scene perfectly too, as black and white can appear a bit cold, so with beautifully carved, ornate furniture it adds a bit of depth - great
