In Argentina, we renovated a very very old apartment and keeping the old style of the period and place, I tried to just paint everything white and add a touch of color here and there. The bathroom was solid white, the huge tub, the 18' high ceilings , walls etc but the stand that the sink stood in was almost an ebony wood. Very dark and it was just enough so the room didn't look like a laboratory :) I am hoping to buy and move into a new home soon, the bathroom is all white. I am contemplating what I will do with it. I love decorating new homes :)
I love this pictures, especially the kitchen. I just recently painted my kitchen cabinets white, Snowbound by Sherwin Williams and removed the upper cabinet doors and love it. Your post made me think about the guest bath, maybe it will go white as well. Thank you for a lovely post full of ideas and confirmations. All the best, Rié|Portobello Design Blog
Beautiful pics, I totally agree, white is chic and elegant and the perfect base for art, mirrors, golds and pops of colour. The gold mirrors above are amazing features.

Completely agree. The touches of brass, gold and wood bring these spaces to life!

Those are beautiful - full of character and charm! The gold accents add such warmth. Cheers

I'm slowly converting our downstairs to neutrals, all white walls, warm wooods, brass, blacks etc, then the seasonal pops of color really come alive.
There is no other choice ... Love the all white for both of these rooms!!!
So much charm. Beautiful spaces.
The bathroom looks so beautiful with the mirror and the arts in #3 picture. All white makes the bathroom and kitchen shine like a diamond.
