amazing grays

The images above are from the bedroom designed by Amy D. Morris Interiors for Atlanta's Christmas, 2009 Showhouse. The bookcases featured in yesterday's post, the warm gray ones I absolutely flipped over, are from this room.

Below are more examples of the work of Amy D. Morris. All beautiful. In a piece in Atlanta Homes Magazine, Amy notes: "My signature colors are gray and white. In my opinion, they are classic, simple and timeless. Then I like to add a 'punch' with pops of color."

My very first bedroom of my first apartment was decorated in gray and white. I spent a fortune on Ralph Lauren bedding, but it was worth every penny.

Gray will never fall from grace for me; especially following your wonderful blog. The room with the sunflowers has the most gorgeous of grays. Moody, dark and sultry, the way I like it!

Happy..happy weekend x

Love gray! I am wearing alot of gray with coral/orange accessories, can't get enough of it. I love the pictures you have posted because it has reassured me how good gray and white looks in the home, I wasn't sure as we are now putting the finishing touches to our renovated house and you have convinced me - beautiful!!

You know how I feel about gray. Totally in sync with her philosophy. I love that flower prep room with those cool light fixtures best, but they're all lovely.

Some terrific stuff here. I've had a few of these in random files and never realized they were all the same designer. Clearly a must see portfolio. Great round up! Marija

What pretty pictures - I'm a follower now! Thanks you for your lovely comments about my necklaces. I only sell them at a gallery in Hobart called Handmark Gallery as they like their artists to not sell everywhere. I am hoping to do some slightly different work for Etsy in the near future, but don't hold your breath! Cheerio, Sarah
