I ADORE collage art! It is my absolute favorite!!!! Fabulous post, lady!
What a nice presentation of collectible stamps and envelopes...I love the penmanship on the envelopes...Oh and on your last post that Madeline Stewart room is stalking me...... I saw it the other day on Verdigris Vie and loved it there too so much so I think I am going to do the wall color in my bedroom. I love that gray/lavender....Maryanne ;)

Beautiful, and unexpected!
Very nice! My girls ( 4+2 ) just made their first magazine collage yesterday :) xo
Some days when I am stuggling with an abstract painting I wish I did collage. Having a multitude of resources on hand to draw from and arrange until "just right combination just sings!" seems a lot more fun and way less stressful than creating a piece from imagination alone. I am all about less stress, and the first collage image is so beautifully serene it does it for me this morning, when I needed it.
I love collage art - that first pic is beautiful. : )

I'm such a sucker for old correspondence. I love the vintage envelopes and old German stamps! So cool.
Beautiful...perfect, perfect, perfect. Collages are used often in healing work, helping children and adults articulate grief, loss, and other hard to name emotions. Thank you so much for highlighting them in this way. Peace,Diane
