What a nice presentation of collectible stamps and envelopes...I love the penmanship on the envelopes...Oh and on your last post that Madeline Stewart room is stalking me...... I saw it the other day on Verdigris Vie and loved it there too so much so I think I am going to do the wall color in my bedroom. I love that gray/lavender....Maryanne ;)

Some days when I am stuggling with an abstract painting I wish I did collage. Having a multitude of resources on hand to draw from and arrange until "just right combination just sings!" seems a lot more fun and way less stressful than creating a piece from imagination alone. I am all about less stress, and the first collage image is so beautifully serene it does it for me this morning, when I needed it.

Collage art can be SO beautiful....one of my favorite American artists who does collage works is Kenna Moser...very botanical and she uses vintage letterpress images and postage stamps, as well. Thank you for these lovelies!
