One of my best friends, Gunilla, got married in Cuba last year. I was invited as a bridesmaid but the US authorities wouldn't issue me a Visa (not even my Swedish passport helped when I live in the US). I cried for a week. And now I cry even more when I see the beautiful, old world interiors my friend is talking about.
