Oh! These are gorgeous - I LOVE the one with the bottles through the window. Yes, I also have a love for bottles and jars. Some of them are truly pieces of art. I saw the most beautiful gray blue bottles the other day at an antique store but they were way out of my price range! The prettiest one I found was laying next to the curb in our downtown area. I picked it up and carried it around all evening! :) Thanks for all the pretty things you show us every day ~ Sarah
Funny you should mention it... I was just at my local tarjay and they had some lovely large green glass bottle lamps. Really cute, really reasonably priced. Check it out!
you have a real gift of tugging at my heart strings. i love everything about all these photo's. the texture, the muted tones and the sense of history. i have the same affliction...large glass pieces....
Yes I am! I am craving coloured glass again after a long puritan phase.. Have a store up the road that have three fantastic hand blown bottles in greens and blues - husky tones.. would look perfect.. only I can't buy anything with the move to Sweden coming up next year.. AAAAARRRGHHHH!
I definitely have a thing for large glass vessels of all types. The bigger the better and I really love the ones with a hint of amber or green. And you can do so much with cloches. Lovely images!
I am (more than) slightly obsessed with old demijohns--I can't seem to leave them behind whenever I find one. I wrote a post on them a while back and have been hooked ever since(funny how that works!) Now I'm at the point where I'm having to get very creative with ways to display them. Oh well, the heart wants what the heart wants....
I have always had a thing for apothecary jars. I started a collection 40yrs ago and now they are back in vogue. I am loving the large bottles also, I have three on my armoire in my master bdrm. I smile everytime I spy them.

Large glass objects....why, yes....I have a few myself. And they just add a bit of "light" -- mostly in my kitchen. Great images!
Yes. I have them all over the house.
Such pretty pictures.......love those cosy corners and looking through a welcome window. XO
I've got the fever!!!!!

Absolutely! PB has some good imitations right now but I just gotta have the real thing!

Certainly do - especially when made into a lamp.
Oh yes, I adore glass bottles too and have been eyeing some up on e-bay - the blue-green glass is the best!
Yes, I'm slowly learning that one large bottle is worth 10 small ones!
The pics you found are so serene.
I needed cloches asap. I had to cut up a cake to put in a tupperware last night so that it wouldnt get stale.
On the flip side, how much more would i be eating if the cake was sitting out all day?
