Oh, I love the double doors and wide plank, rustic floor. The scene is most poetic, and makes me want to sit at that desk and pen a letter to a loved one....
What gorgeous floors...they have so much character. WOnder if there is anything out there to where you could get that same look but is newly manufactured..hmmm.

P.S. - Thanks for your sweet comment on the girls room.
I just discovered your blog today. Not sure how I've missed it till now! Beautiful, beautiful! I'm searching for the right grey to paint my dining room hutch. (slightly complicated because I already have grey trim and want it to be a different shade) Thanks for the oodles of inspiration. I spent WAY too long on your site!!

That space looks so calming and comforting. I'd love to be there right this moment.

Wow, the floor is just gorgeous. I love how beautiful and serene the room looks with all the natural wood and light.
Perfect spot to write the next best seller! Thanks for the inspiration!
My most favorite shade of wood. But it's not easy to find, especially in furniture....unless it's antique! Lovely with the grey : )

Gorgeous. Thank you for confirming my decision to have light, not dark hardwood. Although mine is nowhere near as fabulous :) xx
