this one made me swoon...

....the lines of the antique french pieces, the vintage prints and art, and the combination of the gray walls and the pink of the rug...

I can see why. The legs of that table are definitely swoon worthy.

I was just working on an Ideabook on art walls last night and found an image of a collection of art above a desk...this one is even more beautiful. It really works, doesn't it, placing multiple frames above a desk. Janell

You would so proud of me. I just redid my powder room from ping to gray. Gray walls, all white trips and everything else silver. Love it. I will have to post some before and after pictures on my "food blog".

I share your passion - I love the neutrality and elegance of grey. I was so happy to find your blog on Red ticking. What wonderful images and ideas your feature -- I can't wait to see more!

Donna, this post is wonderful -- Reminds me of my dream of one day having a full wall (gray, naturally) of vintage-framed mirrors as they had in the "Dilettante" dessert café in Seattle when it was still a small, romantic place reminiscent of "Bar della Pace" in Rome.
Beautiful blog, in case I've never said so. You gotta love gray.
Best,
Michael

Hi Donna. You know...gray really does go with everything. I am embracing it fully. Used to wear it religiously, and irreligiously...why did it take me so long to fill my house with it? (famous last words?!) Merci! Trish

Loving how the frames are grouped on the wall, instead of perfectly symmetrical. Very cool.

That is a stunning room. Love all the frames on the gray wall. I'm really liking that pink with the gray and accents of gold. Striking combination.
