Ralph Lauren Tudric Pewter

I am absolutely nuts over this New Orleans home, rebuilt after Hurricane Katrina and stylishly refurnished with an amazingly small amount of money.

Karina Gentinetta painted several antique pieces in her home, including the secretary above, Ralph Lauren Tudric Pewter.

The french-style headboard, above, which Karina had made then upholstered herself, is also painted Tudric Pewter.

makes me want to try it out...

Check out the piece on this home in  The New York Times.

Thanks to Nelya and Artie who first made me swoon with these photos.

What a subtle color, and it makes the decor. It reminds me of Farrow & Ball Lime White which I adored and used all over my Victorian Gothic apartment in England - although when I came to California and used it here it looked tired and grubby, something about the light... it was a big lesson for me~ my current gray is much more 'blue'.

Definitely like this colour palette they've used.

p.s. forgot to mention that my Etsy shop is open!

Donna, what an amazing and heartwarming story. Very inspirational. And what a great eye she has! It looks like she invested mega $$ on her interiors.

Nicely done - and again, very inspirational. (I need to find a salvage yard in Seattle!).

Warm hugs to you,

Mon

Wow, what a talented lady. We love the painted furniture pieces. Saving the name of this color to use later.

The swatch looks dark but the pieces themselves look so light, almost whitewashed. I'll have to get some and try it.

Beautiful pictures!

Love this post! It inspires me - I love to see beautiful spaces that do not cost an arm and a leg and you can 'feel' the owner's spirit in this house. She is very talented and it is heartwarming to see what she has done after her loss. I am loving the new gray color too!
