acrylic and lucite furniture

in a local store and loved them?

Then I saw this:

and realized I wasn't the only one who loved them.

But then I saw this:

and wished I'd bought every last one.

Then I saw more images of lucite pieces like this:

and this:

and this:

and it led me to find a whole world of lucite pieces like this:

and this:

I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

be glad you didn't buy those cute chairs. They are very cute but I had a client use one at her desk and it got SO scratched up and gross after just 2 months I had to replace it! haha

Pretty chairs! I would have bought everyone of them. They would be perfect in my dining room! Thanks for the inspiration

Hi there!

I'm afraid you young'uns can have that lucite furniture!

It looks so great in pictures. I could not live with even one piece!

this is what makes "horse-races"!!

I love them in pictures, I would get "hives" if one piece of it were in my house!

Just my opinion ; if course!!

Wonderfu blog!!!

I absolutely love the mix of lucite blended with antique furnishings.
I paired 4 ghost chairs with a vintage eglomise table for The Designer Showhouse of Westchester.
I also used a vintage lucite bar cart in the space as well...something about the lucite just creates that perfect balance.

Dear Donna,

I really love these pieces....

I;ve fallen for the dining room table.

..and the chairs...

......and the coffee table...

...too many pieces for my space but one or two would be divine.

...will keep looking.

Beautiful Donna but I am getting the vibe that they are high maintenance? The giant table is insanely pretty!!

Love a little lucite to update any room. I currently need to get a custom lucite box to fit over the Empire State Building my 8 year old made at school. You would love it....he painted it gray! :)

Hi Donna
I love the great Lucite pieces; have always wondered how they would hold up under duress, scratches etc.
