I love the natural clean feel that the brown and white combination creates. It is more about texture than color and it has such a relaxing quality to it. Thanks for sharing have a good weekend Donna. Donna thebeneblog.com
I have been in love with brown since my teens. My mother worked as a rental agent in our apartment complex. One weekend a tenant was changing apartments and she reviewed his existing apartment as well as the larger apartment he moved too. Well he was an F.I.T. graduate in interior design. She discussed that I planned to go to art school and wanted to be an interior designer as well. I met him a few weeks later in his new apartment. He had painted the living and dinign rooms an beautiful deep gloss chocolate brown. I loved love loved it. Shortly there after i redid my room in brown inspired by his amazing home. He became my design mentor and very good friend for many years. I stiil to this day always have a chocolate brown room in my home.
I love natural/earthy tones against white so warm and stylish and I never seem to bore of it. I love the chair in the bathroom, adds such character and makes gives the space so much more of a relaxing feel.
My Gift Guides and Retail Therapy posts may contain some affiliate links. This means I may receive a small commission on sales thru this blog. Your cost is NOT affected. I only link to items which I would love to own or do already own. Any commission I earn allows me to keep up the gray goodness...so, thank you for your support! Donna
