Antiqued Mirrors

It's 2015 and I'm still completely obsessed with them.

Yes, the Antropologie mirror is amazing. As is all your posts photos of antiqued naturally foxed mirrors or those chemically enhanced. My husband and I have a project planned for Spring of altering and enhancing mirror to look very foxed to apply as our backsplash. Needs to be done outside because the chemicals are extremely strong. We are not looking for reflection just adding another layer of dimension.
Happy 2015.

I love a good aged mirror. There's an antique shop up in Maine that does really beautiful ones. They won't tell me what chemicals they use. There are some videos on youtube on how to do it but they don't achieve the same effect. Would be fun to experiment.

Love a gréât old mirror look, nothing beats a naturally aged old mirror, but when one comes across a good faux mirror then who could resist.

Love the shape and aged feel, I must make it down to LA. california to a couple of my favorite Anthropology shops it's always so inspiring.

See you soon.
