The fourth photo down is by designer Grant K. Gibson. You should check out his blog. He has a great portfolio. The photo you posted via Oliveaux is by David Jimenez. He is one of my favorites! I love the look of art in the bathroom too!

Amazing round up of the most beautiful bathrooms...with this as your inspiration, can only imagine how gorgeous yours will turn out! And, the artwork featured, is just as lovely.

Great inspiration photos! I think I like the John Jacob one the best. But they are all beautiful!

I agree- bathrooms need art to give them a little personality. Otherwise the rooms can end up feeling a little cold.

Oh, you found some gorgeous ones! I love art in the bathroom ...and fireplaces! I like when they're decorated like any other room.
My next house will have a freestanding tub so I can have it be just like one of these. I'm not going to share it either! :)

I love these images from all these wonderful designers. I've seen it all from total sophitocation in bathroom art, to downright comical (usually in water closets) one never knows what one will find! These are amazing photos here.

OOOH Loved all of this! John Jacobs is my favorite although I really love the tub in the first pic. David Jimenez's version was nice too also I thought carrera marble was a great backdrop for that piece of art in one of the last ones...Nice job! Maryanne:)

Donna dear, I can't visit your blog anymore... Following you gets too expensive! (:

Art in the bath room - well of course! But I would personally stay away from paper in a room with a lot of humidity (or at least stay away from the more expensive pieces).

Love it all!

I love art in a bathroom! After all it is a place where we spend a lot of time. So why not enjoying a beautiful art work at the same time!

Nothing is better than a beautiful bathroom. Such wonderful "gray" choices!

I have to relay this story. One day I was looking for some art for my kitchen. The snoot ball at the gallerie scoughed at me saying that no one should hang art in kitchens or bathrooms because of the humidity. I walked right out and took my business elsewhere... Apparently, designers have no reservations about where art should go either. So there!

Great photos! I agree - nothing beats a little art in the bathroom, but preferably nothing that is too precious with the potential humidity...

I love all the art you showed, especially the "olde world" stuff...just my style!
