The first picture is divine. To me, it doesn't get any lovelier than that. Your posts are so enjoyable; they are like a meditation on beauty. Have a wonderful Friday. Take care. xo, Anne
Ok lovely woman, you have done it again.. I was meant to go to bed and then you pop a post like this! Now I have to stay and tell you that I just love the first bedroom - what a brilliant canopy! And no 2 (*sigh*) that chair teamed with the lamp and mirror next to a large window pouring in light.. My Swedish heart couldn't be happier! No 3 made it stop (the heart that is..). I think it was love at first sight! No 4 & 5 look familiar.. :) xx
I love gray! It is my new favorite color. I just did a post on horizontal gray & white stripe drapes I had made for my gray dining room. I just can't get enough of it lately. You have a great blog. Thanks sharing the wonderful pics.
LOVE the second photo. By the way, I linked to your blog in my post today - specifically the post you did about changing a sunburst clock into a mirror. I just got a sunburst clock at the flea market and am going to try the same thing. Thanks for the inspiration!
never thought about using gray in the decor, i am usually super bold or super white, but I gotta agree with you, a hint of grey does add to the ambience!
You have a lovely blog! We have just spent days trying to pick the "perfect gray" for above our fireplace, painting up samples galore (second round) and just yesterday we picked it (HC-105 - Revere Pewter is up now, love it but it's too light)...so ironic! Thank you for your wonderful comments...I'm truly pleased that you visited. Off to explore you site now... xo Jessica
What a beautiful writing desk...my grandfather has passed down a walnut writing desk to me and you have just motivated me to go and retrieve it from my parent's storage and put in our new home. Lovely images.
Lovely pics - i love that Domino room with the giant bust on the floor! Hope all is well - thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment. I ALWAYS look at your blog but don't always leave a note (as most time I am sneaking a peak at lunchtime at the office and my monitor faces the hallway!!). So I am always lurking here...
What lovely greys... [australian spelling]... One of my favourite colours... and the last two from Monika's blog are just gorgeous.. very relaxing... Love your unfaithfulness also.. if you have to be disloyal.. then that blue room by Pia Ulin Photography is worth it... Julie
Oooh! Oooh, and more Oooh! These images are wonderful. I can tell that rooms have to speak to you, nothing too stated or contrived but a room that can tell a story, I love that about your design aesthetics, Kathysue
My Gift Guides and Retail Therapy posts may contain some affiliate links. This means I may receive a small commission on sales thru this blog. Your cost is NOT affected. I only link to items which I would love to own or do already own. Any commission I earn allows me to keep up the gray goodness...so, thank you for your support! Donna

perfect grays!
Chic to the NTH degree! (really love the top two!)
I am loving the light gray walls!
I've always thought gray walls with white trim were elegance personified..peaceful. But I can see I also love the white walls with greys fabrics.

~oh, that last image, with the gray and white chairs, I picture wonderful company, candlelight, two glasses of wine and a fire in the fireplace.
