I can't get these beautiful images - mirrors and art layered over tapestries and fabric - out of my mind.

Beautiful images, that last one was just breathtaking!
All those layered fabrics are so inviting and comforting.
I've had a love affair with John for years!!!
Layering keeps they eye moving. These rooms are gorgeous.
I love layering. In fact, my friend who designed the interiors of our new church just did a very similar layering effect with the tapestry and mirror. So lovely! {there's a photo of it on my blog if you want to see...pretty stylish for a church!}
Have a great week!

I am in LOVE with the whole layering thing. We layer decorative mirrors on sheet mirrors all the time. This is even more unexpected and over the top. I had also saved the first image from John Saladino. Perfection!
loving the unexpected placement of anything...
inspirational as always! Layering is an art for sure!

John Saladino can do no wrong~
I must admit I love this layering look so much I've been trying it out in my own home!
This is certainly a great idea! I was thinking of doing it with a sari and a gold mirror I have. Guess they put a hole through the fabric to attach it?
I love Everything that John Salladino does...
Your blog is lovely! Look forward to meeting you in NYC :-)

I love that look...it is so romantic and unexpected. I have nowhere really to do that in my home...I think.
writing for Rue, right? how'd that happen.
Oooh, I was just trying to figure out something to go behind the bed, maybe a curtain with a mirror over it? Love these! XX!
John Saladino is a master with the layers. Love the ones you chose.
So soft and etheral, makes me feel like I am a nun 500 years ago, in a stone room with stunning lead windows, and a wooden mirror over a flax curtain....oh the fantasy of interior design.
