Interesting post:
The posh townhouse we moved into here in DC (all the way from San Diego) has the most beautiful gray walls ever. Varying shades of gray on each floor (there are 4 floors). We are an end unit with a ton of windows, oh and 8 balcony's, with each window moulding and all staircase baseboards (three flights)are painted gray as well.
Although I am in love with the gray walls, can't say I like the gray mouldings. I think the California girl in me would prefer showing off all that beautiful woodwork with old fashioned white.

I've always been on the fence when I comes to painting the mouldings. Looking at the pics I love the gray, but then I love white too.

The gray moldings look beautiful! I usually think of off white, but this gives the spaces a nice, refreshing touch! :)
Absolutely love the gray moulding. I have gray moulding in my master bedroom and bathroom. Great look with a white wall. My walls are BM paper white and the moulding is BM stonington gray. Funny, I have the same gray chandelier as well.
