ghost chair

kml design

I've always loved the louis ghost chair but never thought I'd have one. I can't tell you how happy I was to be the winner of a Wayfair ghost chair giveaway hosted by {this is glamorous}. Beyond happy, really. It's the perfect thing to mix with my more traditional things - you know I'm dying to mix up my look.....

my chair!

Ever wondered if these chairs are comfortable? They are!  I'll probably use mine with a mix of chairs in the dining room.

the ghost gets it's skin on...

Sometimes ghost chairs are shown with a skin rug; I really don't know why....but I have one, so here you go...

I feel so crazy lucky. Thanks so much, {this is glamorous}, you beautiful blog, you,
 and Wayfair!

Yeah! Good for you! I love mine. It sits at the head of my breakfast table and I sit in it every day to blog. Very comfortable. And yes, it's too funny your post is ghost chair and Sissy's is bat chair. It does sound very Halloween-ish!

Love it!! My daughter and I were just talking about ghost chairs the other day.

I found some folding ghost chairs at Goodwill believe it or not, and we were talking about the Louis one.

Love your blog.

We have this wonderful modern but not Thonet dining room table and chairs. I wanted so badly to put Ghost chairs at the table but my husband insisted that people would fall down and drop things all the time with the see through table and see through chairs ! lol. I wish I could have tried it just to see :)

Congrats, Donna! This is such a great piece that can work everywhere. Have you considered getting another one as a pair for your more casual dining room look? (I thought of doing that in my dining room a while back but ended up finding those brass chairs.) Just a thought.

Congratulations my dear! Well deserved.

I love that the Ghost chairs are back. Not that they have or will ever go out of fashion.
I love them with and without skins - think your photos are gorgeous.

Also see that you did go ahead with the sisal carpet. Are you liking it? It sure looks amazing!
