bottles...
unknown
I have a little 'thing' for bottles and glassware lately. I have collected far more cloches than I need and antique apothecary bottles seem to call my name. anyone else sharing this obsession...?

a little progress in our master bath
...you fearless design bloggers who have the courage and confidence to blog about your own homes. I have even more respect for you after contemplating blogging my master bath re-do. Will it be good enough? What will they think? What will they say? Thanks to all of you who have gone before and given us all such treats.
We are slowly coming along. I am in love with my calcutta gold marble shower floor. Last fall, I found a great vintage french chest at Scott's Antique Market in Atlanta which will be made into the vanity. Here are two drawers from the chest. I really like the pulls and the sweet blue and cream paper lining. Our home was built in the early 1940's so having an older piece in the new bathroom is going to give the feel I want.
Not much else to show right now. Did I mention progress was slow?
Now I just need to choose a gray for the walls.....that should be easy, right????
an open letter to sixx design
Dear Cortney and Robert, I really like the way you sign your designs with a huge, funky art piece. It's gotta be hard to constantly find fresh pieces. Let me introduce you to Randel Plowman of A Collage A Day. I think one of these pieces, blown up to size, would really set a room on fire. You can thank me later. A little finders fee would do nicely. Or, Randel could whip me up a little sumpin' for that space over my mantel that has been empty for years now. Call me. I have even more ideas. Yours truly, donna

Not too long ago, ally featured a grouping of unframed landscape paintings. They really caught my eye. Here is a grouping of portraits, all unframed, and I really like the look. Makes me want to start a new collection...
hello, it's me calling...
And here is what we came up with - Pam's square, two color ikat cards in olive and gray (of course)...
