While in Charleston a few years ago, I saw Angie Hranowsky's work for the first time. I'm still smitten with pretty much everything she does. I have never looked at vintage/mid-century art or lamps the same after seeing her designs. I'd love to have a little of this look in my home...

I so agree - I have a huge style crush. I love the collected and layered look to her interiors!

Her rooms remind me of a beautiful tapesty held together with threads of gold.
Agreed. Mix it up. Makes it so much more interesting. These pieces are really art.
I love the deep purples, greens, and the pops of white in these spaces. I especially love the first image of the sitting area with chaise longue. Lovely!
Well edited eclecticism. j
Angie has fantastic taste and is a great person- I've admired her work for a while. It's so great to have someone with her vision in a city so bent on classicism and traditionalism.
She is by far my favorite designer! I love everything about her mix of styles and use of color. Now when I make decisions in my own home I think WWAD? (what would angie do? lol)
You're right, Donna. Mid-century is hard to pull off - sometimes it looks so contrived. Her style is much more layered and sophisticated - just fantastic!
These are lovely. I really love the white dining table and would love to use something like it in my entry hall. Any ideas where I could source something like it?
She is so talented!Love the hip mid century vibe.
Oh, yes, I love me some Angie H. She's a good one! Love these images. Pinning them all!
Hello Donna! I came by to ask if you've seen the grey chairs in the John Jacobs room currently playing on My Notting Hill. I'm not sure if they are grey or gray but felt I should point them out. :-)
Gray is the best (for me too...)!
Very nice blog, original and elegant.
