framed letters

I adore these old letters in lovely gold leaf frames.
And I especially love the pieces between glass - no matting.
A great personal touch in a room.

I love this look, too. My mother has framed old family letters in a similiar fashion - double glass so as to be ablet to ready both sides fo the letter. Very special, j

Love this look! Old letters speak to me. I have 2 old typed letters exchanged b/w my grandfather and Neiman Marcus circa 1957, hung on either side of my front door.

Thanks for all the gray inspiration. I keep coming back to your blog for color ideas!!!!

We're sampling so I can see them in day/night. Lots of natural light in the area we'll go gray. Can't wait to see how they look. A little nervous....but feeling it's the way to go.

I've seen something like this recently - and I just LOVE it. I think maybe someone's telling me to give it a shot in one of the B&B rooms I am designing. Too fun!

They are really beautiful! Such a lost art too - handwriting letters...

Absolutely beautiful idea...I love the thought of having special sentiments treasured in this way...much nicer than having them stored away in a box.

Hi Dear,

I agree with you! I am on a "frame those old coins, stamps and letters" path too!

Thank you for your sweet birthday/anniversary greeting.

You are one fantastic lady.

Love to you.

This would be a perfect way to display the letters to Ellie from my grandfather to her before he passed away. Ellie Virginia is my grandmothers name sake.

LOVE this look! Love the letters....and love the lack of matts....you just saved me.........I have this fab drawing....with the holes at the top... torn .(from the ring binder)

going to frame it without any matte....it shows its origins.....ripped from a pad.......thank you!

when the student is ready the teacher will come!!

I am so grateful!!
