trophy cups

via tear it out

I'm such a nut for old engraved trophys or loving cups, as they are sometimes called. Love the one above used as a vase. I have a collection of old copper trophy cups and I'm always trying to figure out the best use for them. This week I'm putting them in the kitchen to hold utensils and old silver. Next week...who knows...?

Love the silverware idea. We use a cute antiqued plotting pot to hold our silverware. It's very handy and cute.

So impressed by the copper; I've never seen a copper trophy. Would they be good with soaps/flowers in a bathroom?

My collection is much smaller than yours but I love them large!

Wonderful way to use those trophies !!

How do they get away from the family, anyway??

Those are treasures I would close to my heart! And have in my house!!

Wonderful collection Donna! The beauty with the flowers had me thinking how lovely yours would look with bulb blossoms popping out of them...I bet they'd need to be lined though.
Hope you're having a superb holiday weekend!

Ooo j'adore. I always have an eye peeled for wood-fronted or silver ones- haven't come across as many copper ones but love copper! Great equestrian "moment" for tabletop.
