See those fat brushes in the first picture on the left, I have a whole canister full of those. I love the way they look. XXXDebra~
these brushes are the perfect testimony to a rich creative life. Love the pics.
Never have paintbrushes looked so pretty. Simply gorgeous.
And one day they are coming back out! Lovely images Donna. xx
I love paint brushes...what a story they tell. Not just the paintings they produce, but about the hands that hold them. I remember An Urban Cottage had a pitcher full of tiny brushes when he showed his book cases. He said they were once from a well known painter...I love these photos.
I have a connection to objects that are used or worn by hands over time. They carry a little bit of the souls of the people who touched and used them. I have a pitcher full of old paint brushes I display like an arrangement of flowers. Some of them are worn down to stubs. Love them.
How eloquent these brushes are!
Don't you wonder what works of art were created?
Elevating them into art = genius!!! I love their crusty patina!Cheers ~Loi
You've made these paint brushes so beautiful!-connie
Aren't they so interesting. I try to keep my brushes clean...well you know. You get wrapped up in the painting and then you are exhausted; as long as the bristles are kept soft.xoxoKarenaArt by Karena
