I love these! Have been thinking about trying to "antique" a new mirror to get it to look like this.
Love the blue wall in the fourth photo and the mirrored wall in the sixth!
Every photo I kept saying "this is my favorite!" Then I would get to the next one! You have the most gorgeous posts.
Glad we're both digging that final mirror! Maybe we could club together to buy it!! ;)
You are pulling on my decor heartstrings with these mirrors. I just love the walls in the first photo. I wonder how they got that texture and un-eveness...
Oh I have a thing for old mirrors! I think about how many people peered into them, and about what was going on in their lives when they did. These are wonderful, and as Shari wrote each one was great, and then there was the next one. Great post!
YUM, YUM, YUM! So stunning as a headboard! Though I would want to make sure it was fastened super tight.
Should note that I really enjoy antique gold mirrors against gray walls- such a nice warm/cool combination.
(ps- thanks for the link love)
I've been looking for something like this for over my fireplace mantel. All these images are just gorgeous!
Me either! They are all t die for!
That last one is my absolute favorite.!!
Stunning, stunning + stunning, all of them.. would love a piece! xo
that mirror headboard is unreal!
Love them all!! And your comment on Little Green Notebook, Ethel, cracked me up!! I don't care what the chair is called, you should win a prize for being so damn funny!!
I feel the exact same way! LOVE.
I have heard there is a way to antique new mirrors to give them that look. Do you have any knowledge on that?
love these, I wish I could figure out a way to make them look like that!
Every single image is gorgeous!! Love them all!! Kathysue
Love them too! The headboard is such a fabulous idea.
amen sister. i think we have the same fave!!!
I too LOVE them. One as a headboard is fabulous. You'd just have to keep the Windex by the bedside however.
You found such great examples of these remarkable vintage mirrors.
Your good!! xx
I love antiqued mirrors and I love these interiors ...gorgeous pictures! Have just found your blog...love it and have joined!
I have just done a bathroom interior in the most gorgeous grey. If you would like the name of the colour I would be glad to pass it on.

All superb but my favorite is the headboard mirror. Exquisite! Thanks for the great post!
OMG, that tufted couch and gorgeous waterfront view. WOW!
Yes YES Ja! The smokey mirrors are brilliant!
That panel in no 1.. the panelled wall in no 3!
Am both drawn and scared of the last one.. So much history! That mirror has seen a lot!... Bit spooky but so beautiful!

They are all divine..and tried to 'fog' a mirror, and it didn't work. Tried applying CLR...acetone...Drano to the back of the mirror, but not at the same time--serious lung damage, or worse! Not worth the risk. It really comes down to using strong acid-based chemicals, of which I am not equipped to use. Better off asking a professional to do it, or save for the real deal. It's worth it...
