I love these! Have been thinking about trying to "antique" a new mirror to get it to look like this.

You are pulling on my decor heartstrings with these mirrors. I just love the walls in the first photo. I wonder how they got that texture and un-eveness...

Oh I have a thing for old mirrors! I think about how many people peered into them, and about what was going on in their lives when they did. These are wonderful, and as Shari wrote each one was great, and then there was the next one. Great post!

YUM, YUM, YUM! So stunning as a headboard! Though I would want to make sure it was fastened super tight.
Should note that I really enjoy antique gold mirrors against gray walls- such a nice warm/cool combination.

(ps- thanks for the link love)

I have heard there is a way to antique new mirrors to give them that look. Do you have any knowledge on that?

I too LOVE them. One as a headboard is fabulous. You'd just have to keep the Windex by the bedside however.

You found such great examples of these remarkable vintage mirrors.

Your good!! xx

They are all divine..and tried to 'fog' a mirror, and it didn't work. Tried applying CLR...acetone...Drano to the back of the mirror, but not at the same time--serious lung damage, or worse! Not worth the risk. It really comes down to using strong acid-based chemicals, of which I am not equipped to use. Better off asking a professional to do it, or save for the real deal. It's worth it...
