What beautiful rooms! I especially like the last photo with the distressed walls - I love the worn look with the bowl of shiny ornaments. It is a beautiful contrast.

Textured walls can sometimes end up looking dated, but these are amazingly gorgeous. Particularly the last image, it somehow manages to look old and worn yet beautifully fresh.

We had "glue walls" (images 1,3,4,5) in our previous house...so loved them. Thinking we were going to be remodeling soon, we stripped off the old wallpaper in the dining room and underneath was the most amazing color and texture from the old dried paste. We ended up living with it for 10 years and tried desperately to think of a way to save the walls for our new house to no avail.
So to achieve this look...put up some wallpaper and after 30 or so years...peel it off and vuala, it's there!
