rug love

I am loving these Moroccan rugs from J. H. Minassian. I love their colorless-ness. Did I just invent that word?
Here are a couple in rooms featured in Elle Decor:

I love how the diamond pattern doesn't stretch right to the edges in the elle decor shot!

Hope you had a fab weekend, Donna!

Love these rugs. Just an understated touch of pattern and texture. Lovely.

These are all beautiful rugs. I wonder if you put anything underneath to keep the rugs from scooting around on the floor.

Those Moroccan rugs are amazing...I die every time I see one!

Yummy. I have a mad weakness for these rugs. Pretty much save every image with a Beni Ouarain/ Moroccan gem.

I've been looking for a slight pattern in a rug for my bedroom but I don't want a lot of pattern either. These are a great choice.

Those would be pretty in a wonderful bathroom too -- they look sooo soft!

some of the rugs in the magazines are copies. I have been drooling over Maryam's authentic rugs. she has built a boutique guesthouse in Marrakech called Peacock Pavillions .She has quite a few gorgeous Beni Ouarain rugs in nice sizes. the link is on her blog, on the left bar.

I would even pay a pimp for one of those. Been lusting after them for years!

No shame.

Yes, very beautiful. Love that desaturated, almost sun bleached, look. Am in love with no 2 from the top. Yum yum for my hallway!! (Of course that would never happen with kids in the house.. White and little feet don't really go together.. SIGH!)

Hugs

those are fantastic rugs. I love the worn texture and muted "colorless-ness" :) a nice take on a woven rug for sure!

Gorgeous!! I'm still on the rug-hunt myself!! That last picture from Elle is pretty awesome. The gray woodwork is to die for. Trying to suppress my urge to paint the renter's white walls at our home!!

Those Moroccan rugs have been a favorite of mine for a long time. Been looking for decent reproductions with a lesser price tag for a client Any good ideas?

I'll take one of each to be delivered here in ATL!

These make my heart stop. I want one badly...too bad the prices have a similar effect-heartstoppingly high. But gorgeous nonetheless. That door shot may be the most beautiful doorway ever.

our new shop shares space with a rug store and we get to borrow some of their beautiful offerings to display in our part of the building. I'm sitting here looking at a cream and chocolate Moroccan just like the ones you have picture here...LOVE this style! everyone who comes in comments on the rug!
