hey, that's my wallpaper!

Designer Angele Parlange's Manhattan apartment

I didn't recognize the 'vintage' wallpaper on these panels until I saw this close-up.

Even then, I thought, 'Is it...? Could it be......?'

a view of our master bath -
now completely gutted for a re-do

It is. The same wallpaper that was in our master bathroom.

Folks, this is probably the closest I will ever come to being in Lonny.

You are too funny! My cousin just bought a house with the craziest wallpaper. I actually told her to try to cut some of it out and frame it. I should send her this post. :)

Donna,

That's hilarious! I once had a painting in my powder bath by the same artist that was in a House Beautiful spread. Probably as close as I'll get to HB. Ha! We have to savor these little moments.

Oh my goodness, this is the funniest post I've seen in awhile. Okay, fess up, did it make you ask, if even for a second, if you should have kept the wallpaper?

Please share more about your bathroom project!

There is something about vintage wallpaper..... When we moved into our house the dining room was sporting the original wallpaper... My first thought was "this has got to go" but now I can't live without it.........How coincidental you zeroed in on that article!!!!Maryanne;)

Amazing!!!! For what its worth I only kinda sort of like it on those panels and would hate it in a whole bathroom! You must send this link to Lonny...its just too funny!

Laugh out Loud funny!!! But, I have no doubt your day will come...in Lonny or somewhere else. Can I guess that the new bathroom will be painted a beautiful shade of gray?

I like the idea of salvaging a piece - to keep as a bad example!

I think you're better off without it...

This is making me laugh. I think you can at least salvage some smaller pieces if you really like it. I am not much of a fan for the print on the paper, I would have gutted it too:) I would just be lucky to know a person named Lonny. You are closer to being in the magazine than me.

Hilarious! What an eye you have...although we forget you have been staring at that paper for a while probably wishing it would go away...not that I don't kind of like it...just that from reading your blog I don't think it is your style :)

This is hilarious! See, you could've just neatly cut out pieces of your bathroom walls and put them on display somewhere in your house! ;)

Best wishes for smooth sailing with your remodel...can't wait to see the final product!
