I love that black door. Out in the big design world, I know it's not a very big deal, but I'm so excited we just convinced a client in Little Rock to paint all of their doors and windows black. Seriously, she will be the only one in Little Rock but she is adventuresome, has good taste and trusts us. Can I just say she is a dream to work with.
...and sleek... I have a vintage chair like this in acid green chenille..(it's how I got it at auction) this is giving me some great ideas for when I get it reupholstered..... great find.. maureen
OMG...my parents had these exact chairs in our living room when growing up in socal. back in those days, we never went in the living room except for special occasions. there are many holiday photo's taken on these chairs that i always wanted to put in my bedroom. well, when we moved to idaho from socal, the chairs were left with the house. this image just reminded me how angry i am about this...kidding, but what i wouldnt give to have those little treasures. have a good weekend.

Love the chairs! Funny as I walked to the movies tonight I passed a Crate& Barrell store and they actually had white leather wing chairs very similar to those.
Very curvaceous & inviting Donna! Thanks for your kind & encouraging comments re our completed bathroom reno. Yes, we are very proud of what we achieved on a tight budget. You could almost hear the collective sigh of relief from all our wonderful Followers though over @ The Hedge when it was finally finished. I reckon they'd just about reached the end of their rope after having to live through the dramas with us for the past 2 yrs.! Millie x
Hi Donna, I couldn't agree more and am now re-thinking how I am going to re-do my wing backs!!! Also, please check my blog tomorrow. I am passing along the Stylish Blogger Award to you. Pam Robinson gave it to me and I can't think of a more perfectly stylish blog than A Perfect Gray! XO Jeanne
